Ultraheroes Novels

It all started with a role playing game I used to play many years ago. I started writing about the characters and made up some new ones of my own, and the Ultraheroes series grew from there.

Marvel has the X-Men and the Avengers – Ultraheroes has the Freedom League, The G-Men, The Chain Gang and Third Wave. Each book stands alone but the characters interconnect and may appear in more than one of the novels.

These stories are mostly set in the United Kingdom – some in London, some in Birmingham. Some of them take place in fictitious towns like Darrowburn. Characters also travel to other lands – France, Republic of Ireland and the USA, and to fictitious lands like the small European nation of Galorvia.

There are superheroes, exiled royalty, celebrities, aliens, heroes and villains, families, romances and friendships in this growing saga.

There’s no ideal order in which to read them, although From a Jack to a King, Running in the Family, Eternal Flame and Very Variant Christmas deal with one generation of heroes while in Obsidian’s Ark, Tale of Two Sisters and Killing Me Softly the focus shifts to a new generation.
