Raiders Series

While these characters inhabited the same role playing game as the Ultraheroes, they’re different in that they hail from another dimension, a world they know as Infinitus, and haven’t (as yet anyway) met any of the other characters. Their planet is the same size as Earth, and has one moon, the same size as ours. Perhaps it is an alternate Earth, although the land masses on the planet and craters on the moon are different.

Infinitus has two large continents – Innovia, which is comparable to our own Western World, slightly more advanced in terms of technology, and Classica, which has very little technology – akin to medieval Europe. People from the two continents rarely meet. In fact, Innovia has passed laws to limit contact and prevent Classica from being corrupted by technology (or is it to prevent an influx of Classican immigrants who want a better life?)

They do occasionally meet on an Island equidistant from the two large continents – Bird Island. Communities from both continents co-exist there. Bird Island is, however, under threat as Desi Troyes, the main protagonist, plans to destroy it as part of his ambitious plan for world domination. Except things don’t quite go as he planned, thanks to Innovia’s superhero, Power Blaster, and an inter-dimensional wormhole.

These books do need to be read in order – Secrets and Skies, then Over the Rainbow, then Closing the Circle.
