Ultraheroes novels

Stories about superheroes who are characters in the Ultraheroes role playing game. If you’re tired of America having the monopoly in superhero teams, these might be for you. They’re mostly based in Britain with a token American or two. While there is some overlap of characters, each novel is complete in itself.

Combat Teams novels

The six richest people in the country, in an effort to ascertain which of them is most successful, decide to run a gladiator contest. The televised competition fields teams of ten super-powered beings, which include: Someone very strong; someone who can teleport; a martial artist/hand to hand combat expert; a sharp-shooter; a healer; someone who can fly; a power armour user; a probability alterer; someone with a psionic power; and a wild card, which could be anything.

As the teams are brought together and the contest begins, a race of particularly nasty aliens has its sights set on Earth. Each book focuses on one team, its origins and relationships, while the underlying threat to life on Earth as we know it unfolds.

Raiders novels

While the characters here are also from the Ultraheroes role playing game, they are from an alternative dimension which they call Infinitus. Their planet is very similar to Earth in many ways but in others quite different. There are inter-dimensional wormholes which allow travel between dimensions and also in time. Wormhole travel also gives some people superpowers. This is a trilogy.

Miscellaneous

Anything that doesn’t quite fit the above categories. For the moment that’s just Golden Thread. The characters in it have powers, but there’s no overlap between their universe and any of the others. Not yet, anyway.
